Creativity and Design
A design is basically a blueprint or plan for the production of an object or technique or even for the execution of an action or process, or just the outcome of which plan or blueprint exists in the form of a model, machine or procedure. The verb to design normally indicates the process of creating a design by means of abstracting one’s ideas or thoughts on paper. Designing can be done by way of simulation or by way of structural descriptions. Designing can be done formally by a professor or by people who have an artistic bent of mind. Some designers have the talent to manipulate objects and constructing them in various manners.
Design is a branch of art that deals with the visual aspect of things, usually it is related to the creation of aesthetic objects such as paintings, sculpture, and interior design of various types. It deals with the arrangement and presentation of things in a particular manner. A number of branches of art contain the use of combinations and opposites of the basic elements to achieve a particular design or style. There are multiple types of design; these are architecture, graphic design, printmaking, interior decoration, motion graphics, and so forth.
Designing as a whole consists of many branches of creativity; therefore the combination of different designs will often yield fresh and unique results. Designing as a whole can be defined as the ability to arrive at a specific design by means of the combination of different existing designs. So, to sum up, creativity can be defined as the ability to think of innovative designs.
